YETI's warranty covers manufacturing defects, not third-party modifications. Getting your YETI engraved elsewhere technically voids the warranty for that specific piece. However, for most personal and gift use, the warranty concern is minimal — laser engraving does not affect the insulation performance, and YETIs rarely fail for any warranty-covered reason.
