Palm Coast Customs laser engraves genuine leather in Estero, Florida — patches, keychains, journals, wallets, and branded leather merchandise for businesses and individuals. Every piece is made to order on a Thunder Nova 51, with a design proof sent before production. Ships nationwide.
Get a Free QuoteLaser engraving on genuine leather works by using a focused CO2 beam to lightly char the surface of the hide — creating contrast and depth without cutting through. On quality vegetable-tanned or full-grain leather, the result is a dark, precise mark that shows fine detail clearly: initials, logos, crests, text in any font, and line art all come through sharp.
I'm Veronica Ramirez, owner of Palm Coast Customs. I engrave leather on my Thunder Nova 51, which gives me the ability to work on patches from about an inch square up to full panels for journals and portfolio covers. The machine's precision is consistent across all of it — the same logo engraved on 50 hat patches will look identical on each one.
One thing worth knowing: the leather grade affects the result. Vegetable-tanned and full-grain leathers engrave with the richest contrast and cleanest edges. Bonded or corrected-grain leather is less predictable. For custom orders, I'll tell you exactly what to source and where if you're supplying the material — or I can work with leather I have on hand.
The most common leather engraving order I get from local businesses is hat patches — they want a clean logo on a leather patch to sew or iron onto branded hats. A well-engraved leather patch on a Richardson 112 looks significantly more premium than a screen-printed alternative, and it holds up better over time. For outdoor businesses, marine companies, and trade contractors in the Fort Myers and Naples area, that professional look matters when your crew is the face of your brand.
Bulk patch orders are priced per-unit and drop with volume. If you need 50 or more patches for a product line, a uniform program, or a retail run, reach out and I'll work out a production schedule and pricing that makes sense for the quantity.
For broader branded merchandise programs, see the corporate gifts page — leather patches are often part of a larger corporate gifting kit that includes engraved tumblers and other branded pieces.
