Custom Laser Engraving for Restaurants and Bars — Branded Pieces That Last

Custom laser engraved pieces for restaurants, bars, and hospitality businesses in Southwest Florida. Branded drinkware, menus, signage, and staff gifts made to order in Estero, FL.

Restaurants and bars in Southwest Florida have one thing in common: everything in front of a customer is a branding decision. The coaster under the glass, the sign behind the bar, the tumbler your staff carries to a catering event — all of it says something about the business. Custom laser engraving is one of the most cost-effective ways to make those pieces look intentional instead of off-the-shelf.

I'm Veronica Ramirez, and I run Palm Coast Customs out of Estero, Florida. I work with restaurants, bars, breweries, and hospitality businesses across Lee and Collier County on engraved pieces — from branded bar coasters to staff drinkware to wall signage. Here's what I make, how it works, and what the pricing looks like.

What Restaurants and Bars Actually Order

Branded bar coasters 4-inch round or square coasters in 3mm Baltic birch plywood or Rowmark acrylic, engraved with your logo or business name. Coasters take more abuse than almost any product in a restaurant — they get wet, stacked, dropped — and laser engraving holds up to all of it because the mark is cut into the material, not printed on top. A set of 50 coasters for bar service is a common first order. Price range: $3.50–$5.50 per coaster at quantity.

Staff drinkware 30oz or 40oz stainless steel tumblers with the restaurant name and logo engraved permanently. Popular for catering crews, event staff, and front-of-house teams at restaurants that do outdoor events. Unlike printed drinkware, laser engraving doesn't peel, chip, or fade in a commercial kitchen environment. Price range: $22–$28 per tumbler at 12+ quantity.

Menu boards and signage Hand-lettered-style engraved menus and signage on 3mm Baltic birch — daily specials boards, bar menu signs, restroom signs, and branded shelf displays. Not a replacement for a full printed menu, but an elevated piece for cocktail menus, wine lists, or specials that don't change often. A craft cocktail bar with a rotating seasonal menu engraved on a wood panel behind the bar has a finished, intentional look that guests notice and photograph.

Behind-the-bar signage Business name plates, owner name displays, wall quotes, and décor pieces for the back-bar wall. The Thunder Nova 51 produces a clean, precise engraving at any size — from a small 4x6 logo plate to a large 18x24 display piece. Price range varies by size and material.

Client and vendor gifts Restaurants and bars that cultivate relationships with suppliers, local partners, and loyal regulars often want something to give at the holidays or for a significant milestone. Engraved cutting boards, wine glasses with a business logo, or personalized pieces for key clients. Bulk pricing at 10+ pieces.

Why Laser Engraving Holds Up in a Hospitality Environment

Commercial kitchens and bar environments are hard on branded merchandise. Heat, moisture, cleaning chemicals, and constant handling destroy printed finishes fast. Laser engraving removes material from the surface — there's no ink, no coating, nothing that can peel or fade. A coaster engraved on my machine in 2026 looks the same after two years of bar service as it did the day it was made.

For outdoor dining, patio service, or catering operations, this durability difference is significant. Printed drinkware for a poolside event at a Fort Myers restaurant might look decent the first month and worn out by summer. Engraved stainless steel looks the same year three.

Ordering for a Restaurant or Bar: How It Works

I work on a proof-before-production model. Send me your logo or design (high-resolution PNG or SVG is ideal, but I can work with most formats), the quantity, and your deadline. I send a digital proof showing exactly how it will look engraved before I touch a single piece of material. You approve, and production starts.

Turnaround is typically 5–7 business days for standard orders. For opening orders or events with a fixed date, contact me at least 3 weeks out — I'll confirm the timeline before you commit.

For restaurants that want to establish a standing order arrangement for coasters or staff drinkware on a quarterly or seasonal basis, I offer flat bulk pricing locked in for 90 days. One order, one design on file, reorder as needed.

What to Send When You Reach Out

The faster you give me complete information, the faster I can get a quote back to you:

  • Your logo file (PNG, SVG, or PDF — high res)
  • What you want made and the quantity
  • Your deadline or event date
  • Whether you want pickup in Estero or shipping to your location

Most quotes come back the same business day. For straightforward repeat products like coasters and tumblers, I can usually have a proof to you within 24 hours of confirmation.

Pricing Context for Restaurant and Bar Orders

Pricing depends on product type, quantity, and design complexity. General ranges:

Product Quantity Per-Unit Range
Wood coasters 25–49 $4.50–$5.50
Wood coasters 50+ $3.50–$4.50
Stainless tumblers 12–24 $24–$28
Stainless tumblers 25+ $20–$24
Signage (small) 1–5 $35–$65
Signage (large) 1–3 $85–$145

These are ranges — exact pricing depends on the design and product specs. Text or DM me for a specific quote on your order.

Southwest Florida's hospitality industry runs year-round, but peak season (October through April) is when most restaurants are at full capacity and when branded pieces get the most visibility. If you want coasters, signage, or staff drinkware ready before the winter season ramps up, September is the time to order.
